Privacy Policy — Pathta add-on for Google Sheets

This privacy policy explains how the “Pathta” add-on for Google Sheets, published by NOW-CODE (a French SAS company), handles data when used within Google Sheets.

Publisher

The Pathta add-on for Google Sheets is published by NOW-CODE (SAS), registered under SIRET number 952 218 659 00011, with its registered office at 3 Allée de Lestonnac, 33360 Carignan-de-Bordeaux, France. Contact: contact@now-code.fr.

Data processed

The add-on processes only the following data:

API key (authentication token): the key you enter to connect the add-on to your Pathta account. It is kept by Google in the script's user properties (PropertiesService.getUserProperties), a private store tied to your Google account alone and inaccessible to other users of the spreadsheet. It is used solely to authenticate your calls to the Pathta API.

Imported Pathta data: the data of the reporting paths you choose to import. It is retrieved through the Pathta API (reporting.pathta.io) at your request, or at the auto-refresh interval you set, and written directly into the tabs of the spreadsheet you have open.

Configuration settings: the list of selected paths, the timestamp of the last import and the auto-refresh setting, stored locally in your browser to restore the state of the sidebar.

Google user data accessed and permissions requested

The add-on requests the minimum permissions needed to work:

Access to the current spreadsheet (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly): allows the add-on to create and update the tabs holding your Pathta data, in the single spreadsheet where the sidebar is open.

Access to files opened with the add-on (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file): allows the add-on to convert the imported data range into a native Sheets table (with filtering and structured references) in that same spreadsheet, via the Sheets Advanced Service. The add-on does not access, list, or modify any other file in your Google Drive.

Outbound network calls (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request): required by the Apps Script platform so the add-on can query the Pathta Reporting API.

Interface display (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui): required to show the Pathta sidebar inside Google Sheets.

The add-on does not access any personal data from your Google account (profile, email address, contacts, Drive, Calendar). Authentication to Pathta relies on a personal API key entered by the user, independent of your Google account.

Compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy

The add-on's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The data the add-on accesses is used only to provide the feature requested by the user; it is never sold, never transferred to third parties, never used for advertising purposes, and is not read by humans except with the user's express consent for support purposes, for security reasons, or to comply with applicable law.

Purpose

This data is used exclusively to operate the add-on: to authenticate the connection to your Pathta account and to import your data into the open spreadsheet at your initiative.

No transfer to third parties

Neither your API key nor the data imported into your spreadsheet is sold, rented or disclosed to third parties. Exchanges take place solely between Google Sheets and the Pathta API (reporting.pathta.io). NOW-CODE does not reuse this data for any other purpose, including advertising.

Retention

The API key remains stored until you revoke it from your Pathta account or click “Disconnect” in the sidebar. Uninstalling the add-on also removes the associated user properties. Imported data is not retained by the add-on: it passes through on each import and remains in your spreadsheet, under your full control.

Security

Exchanges between Google Sheets and the Pathta API are encrypted (HTTPS). The Pathta platform is hosted in France on Microsoft Azure.

Cookies

The add-on does not set any cookies or advertising trackers.

Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and erase data concerning you. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@now-code.fr.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the add-on. The version in force is the one published on this page.
