Getting started with Pathta takes four steps, with a 30-day free trial. 1. Create your account at pathta.io/signup. 2. Add a data source, for example Sage, Airtable or a SQL Server database through the local agent. 3. Create a synchronization or reporting path by choosing the tables to transfer. 4. Connect the destination: another application, or Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or Data Studio. The Pathta documentation details the setup of each connector.
Make and Zapier automate scenarios triggered by events (a form submitted, an email received, a row added) and are usually billed per execution. Pathta specializes in table-level data flows: synchronizing entire databases between applications and feeding reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets, Data Studio), including from databases hosted on your own servers thanks to its local agent. The two approaches are complementary: Make or Zapier for task automation, Pathta for moving and analyzing data.
For data hosted within your own IT environment (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Access, Excel or CSV files, on-premise Active Directory), Pathta relies on a local agent. It is installed on your network as a Docker container, an executable or a Windows service, and communicates with Pathta without opening any inbound port: your database is never exposed to the internet and your files stay on your servers.
Pathta offers a partner connector available in the Data Studio connector gallery (formerly Looker Studio). To use it: create a Pathta account, generate an API key, select the Pathta connector in Data Studio, enter your key, then choose the path to display. You can then visualize in Data Studio the data from all sources compatible with Pathta, for example Airtable, TimeTonic, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Supabase or Bubble.
Pathta offers an Excel add-in, published on Microsoft AppSource, and a Google Sheets add-on, published on Google Workspace Marketplace. Once installed, you connect the add-in to your Pathta account and choose a reporting path: the source data (Sage, Airtable, TimeTonic, SQL Server…) is loaded into your workbook as a table, with no exporting or copy-pasting.
Data Sync and Data Reporting are Pathta's two use cases. Data Sync synchronizes data between two applications or databases so they stay consistent, for example Pennylane invoices to TimeTonic or a SQL Server database to Airtable. Data Reporting makes a source's data available in an analytics tool (Power BI, Data Studio, Excel or Google Sheets) to build up-to-date dashboards, with no manual exports.
Pathta connects four families of sources: business software (Sage, Pennylane, Odoo, Nibelis), databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft Access), no-code tools (Airtable, TimeTonic, Supabase, Xano, Bubble, Fillout) and Excel and CSV files (local, on a network share or via FTP/SFTP). This data can be synchronized between tools or sent to Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI and Data Studio. The full list of connections is available on the Connectors page.
Pathta connects your company data (Sage, Pennylane, Odoo, Airtable, TimeTonic, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Excel or CSV files…) to your analytics tools: Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI and Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio). It also lets you sync your applications with each other. Everything is configured from a web interface, with no development required. Pathta is published by Now-Code, a French company based in Bordeaux.
Yes. Pathta is designed to connect business data without exposing it. For databases and files hosted on your premises (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Access, Excel, CSV…), a local agent installed on your network (Docker container, executable or Windows service) establishes the connection without opening any inbound port, so your database is never exposed to the internet. Access to the platform relies on Microsoft Azure AD B2C authentication, reporting tools (Data Studio, Google Sheets…) connect with an API key specific to your account, and each flow only transfers the tables and fields you have selected.
Automating data flows with Pathta brings three main benefits. Time savings: manual exports, copy-pasting and imports disappear. More reliable data: re-keying and handling errors are eliminated. Always up-to-date KPIs: your Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or Data Studio reports are fed directly from your software (Sage, Pennylane, Odoo, Airtable, TimeTonic…). Your teams can focus on analysis and decision-making instead of data preparation.
No. Pathta is a no-code data integration platform: connecting a source, choosing tables and fields and creating a flow are all done from a web interface, without writing code. Business users (financial controllers, operations managers, project managers) can create and maintain their own flows without relying on a developer. For databases hosted on your own servers (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Access…), a local agent is installed once, and everything is then managed from the interface.
Managing your data with Pathta means centralizing your company’s data and having it flow automatically between your software, with no development. Pathta is a no-code data connection platform: you connect your sources (ERP, accounting software, databases, no-code tools), then set up synchronization or reporting flows. The same up-to-date data feeds your business applications and your Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or Looker Studio dashboards, with no manual exports or re-entry.
The volume processed by Pathta is measured in rows, regardless of the number of columns. Reporting flows: the number of rows in the source table is counted. A 1,000-row table counts as 1,000 rows. If the table exceeds your plan's limit (for example 60,000 rows on a plan limited to 50,000), only the first 50,000 rows are processed. Synchronization flows: the number of rows on the source and destination sides is compared, and the higher number is used. A 1,000-row source synchronized with a 2,000-row destination counts as 2,000 rows.
No. Pathta is billed per account, not per user: every plan, from the free trial to the Enterprise plan, includes unlimited users, paths and connections. Plans differ in the volume of data processed each month, measured in rows, and in options such as the local agent or webhook triggers.
A flow, called a path in Pathta, is a data route between a source and a destination. There are two types. A synchronization path copies and updates data from one database to another, for example Airtable to TimeTonic or Pennylane to TimeTonic. A reporting path makes a source's data available to an analytics tool, for example TimeTonic to Power BI or SQL Server to Data Studio. A reporting tool is always a destination.
